Khichdi of Chawal Moong (Rice-Dal khichdi)
A perfect, easy and nutritious recipe
Rice – ½ small bowl (any type of)
Green moong dal – ¼ small bowl
Salt – ¼ tsp
Turmeric powder – a pinch of
Water – in double quantity of rice and dal
Wash rice and dal. Heat 1 ½ – 2 small bowl water in a pressure cooker. Add all ingredients,little ghee, cover the lid and take 5-6 pressures on high flame. Khichdi of Chawal Moong is ready. Serve it hot with ghee, sugar and cold with curd.
1.You can use yellow moong dal instead of green.
2.As it is a light and easy to digest recipe can be make in breakfast, lunch or dinner.
3.This is an ideal khichdi for growing kids, sick persons.

5.Cook this in pressure cooker to save time and gas.
