Lemon Pickle Recipe

Lemon Pickle

Lemon – 1 kg. cut into small pieces
Salt- 5 tsp.
Red chilli powder- 1 tsp.( or ½ tsp. Red chilli powder + ½ tsp black pepper powder)
Black salt – 5 tsp.
Roasted ground cumin seed – 1 tsp.
Garam masala – 2 tsp.
Heeng ( asafetida ) – ½ tsp.
Sugar – 1 cup

Mix all the ingredients, fill in a glass bottle. Cover it with a cloth.keep for 15 – 20 days in sunlight.

1.You can add sugar after 8-10 days.
2.For sour pickle do not add sugar.
3.Pickle should always be moisture free.
