Methi Ka Paratha Recipe
Methi (Fenugreek ) leaves- 250 gms , washed and chopped finely
Green chilli – 2 chopped
Green onion – 5-6 chopped
Salt – 1 – 1 ½ tsp. or according to taste
Red chilli powder – ½ tsp
Turmeric powder – ¼ tsp
Cumin seeds ( jeera ) – 1 tsp
Saunf (Aniseed) – 1 tsp
Heeng ( asafetida )- ¼ tsp
Wheat flour – 4 small bowl
Take all the ingredients except wheat flour, in a flat plate. Mash properly, now add wheat flour and mix. Add little water and make a medium dough.Put it covered for 15 min.Heat tawa , Now neat the dough with little oil, make small balls of it and roll like a round chapatti or like a triangle paratha . Put it on preheated tawa, bake from both sides , apply butter or oil on both sides, bake on medium flame. Your Methi Paratha is ready, serve it hot with curd or any type of chatni.
1.Onions are optional.
2.You can blanch methi ( boil for few minutes).
